  • The nuns say that they do not want "religious beliefs" imposed on other people in the state, too. Then do they not believe what the church is saying is truth? The idea that life begins at conception is not based upon the requirement of belief in any religious entity, like a soul or a Holy Spirit. The idea that life is important is not an exclusively religious belief. That argument seems to me null.

    "Jesus trusted women." Jesus does not invest "trust" in any people to kill innocents.

    It also seems pertinent to note that Jesus doesn't promote anything like promiscuity, or at the very least sexual looseness that is heedless of the prospect of the begetting of children.
